Brains over Bron – Adapt Clothing

Adapt Clothing is a veteran in the game in the Bay Area. Their “Gold Blooded” line has become a staple in nearly every household in the region. They create products that represent every team in the area across all of the sports.

But we’re here for their Warriors stuff and that might be some of their best work. Honestly, it’s really hard to choose just one item from their site. But this one is recent and amazing.

This one might take a second look to get it. It says “BRAINS OVER BRON,” alluding to a common saying suggesting that intelligence defeats physical solutions every time. Of course, that word would be “brawn.”

But that’s where this shirt works so well. It has multiple meanings. And this is a special one.

The text in yellow reads “RAIN OVER BRON.” That’s a reference to Kevin Durant’s amazing three-pointer over LeBron James in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. The shot was instantly iconic.

We can increase the scope of the script to mean that the Warriors overwhelmed James with their shooting. He drowned in a sea of threes from Steph Curry and, most importantly, Durant.
