The Golden State Warriors’ superstar Stephen Curry is incredibly difficult to defend, but Dwyane Wade might have a secret plan to slow him down.

The Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry is one of the top three players in the world. In the last three seasons, he’s won two championships, two MVP awards, and a scoring title. He’s established himself as one of the deadliest offensive forces in the history of the game.

Before Curry, there was another guard terrorizing defenses. Albeit in a different way, Dwyane Wade broke down teams like few others have. Though he never won a regular season MVP, he has a Finals MVP trophy and three championship rings at home.

While Curry’s shooting gives him the edge–especially in today’s game–Wade’s defense at his peak was pretty spectacular. His shot blocking ability at his size is second-to-none. The former-Miami Heat superstar has gone head-to-head with a lot of greats so he knows what it’s like to be challenged defensively.

Curry’s range stretches defenses in an unprecedented manner and his ball handling, playmaking, and finishing abilities make it nearly impossible to guard him. It seems that the Wade, being the savvy veteran he is, has the secret to slowing Curry down. He told BlueManHoop what it was.

BlueManHoop tweeted at the future Hall of Famer, asking him “how do you slow down @StephenCurry30?”

Well, there you have it, folks. Wade has the secret. According to him, Ayesha Curry is the head of the snake that must be cut off or else the rest of it will squeeze you to death.

Wade has one of the best personalities in all of basketball and his humorous response shows that. The star’s answer is also a testament to Chef Curry’s hard work in establishing herself in the culinary world. And, of course, it shows that there isn’t a practical way to slow down the Baby-Faced Assassin, only silly, outlandish strategies.

Curry is trying to chase Wade in terms of championship rings right now. While Wade isn’t the player that he once was, his extensive playoff experience and leadership can be valuable to a certain team in the Eastern Conference, if he were to get bought out.
