LD tries one last time
LD now returns the agreement of merit in Durant’s direction in saying it’s easier said than done.
James’ nostalgic loyalty for Cleveland led to one championship, the city’s first in 52 years. But he will unlikely wait around the rest of his career trying to get a second one given the ownership.
So a loss is a loss, may as well settle for plan B.
Durant concludes “who cares?”
Now, it’s a little unclear whether Durant is taking a crack at the NBA commissioner for possibly rigging the NBA draft lottery in Cleveland’s direction.
I mean to be fair to Durant, that’s not such a radical conspiracy theory given how improbable it was. USA Today’s Nate Scotts puts into perspective just how lucky it was for 3 out of 4 number one overall picks in the drafts during James’ absence.
But to think that means history will repeat itself the second time around; well that’s again, not very good math.
It’s almost like the media trying to compare the series scenarios in this year’s finals, to how it unfolded in last year’s finals after each game won or lost.
