Honorable mention: Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans at Oracle Arena on Saturday November 25th

Why is this possibly an honorable mention game you ask? Well, it’s the first time the Warriors see the Pelicans squad with Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins play at Oracle Arena. However, this is not the real reason this game is an honorable mention game.

Former Warriors guard Ian Clark, who signed a one-year deal with the Pelicans this offseason will be back at Oracle Arena to receive his ring. Clark should get a standing ovation for all of his wonderful play the past two seasons with Golden State.

Clark averaged career-highs in points per game, field goal percentage and three-point percentage. He averaged 6.8 ppg on 48.7% from the field and 37.4% from beyond the arc in the 2016-2017 season.

He came off the bench when his number has been called and has put in multiple impressive scoring outputs during his time with the Warriors, including a career-high 36 points against the Spurs in San Antonio last season. He was integral part of the Warriors’ rotation this past season and could come into the game and hit a big shot when needed.

Warriors fans will hopefully give Clark a deserved standing-ovation for all of the hard work and being a key contributor to the team’s second championship in three years.
