Here, we will take a look at how our defending Champions, the Golden State Warriors, will fare against their Pacific Division counterparts.

In what is a welcome fact for all NBA fans, the 2017/18 NBA season is fast approaching. With tip-off less than a month away, it’s time to start predicting outcomes for the upcoming season. The Golden State Warriors enter the upcoming season in every team’s crosshairs, as they look to defend their NBA Championship. So, the big question is, how will the Warriors fare in the Pacific Division this season?

The Warriors will once again finish atop the Western Conference, for the fourth season in a row. They should have no trouble against their Pacific Division rivals, and should comfortably cruise to the top of the division. I predict the Warriors to finish the season with a record of 70-12, and claim the first seed in the Western Conference.

Each team in the Pacific Division certainly has their strengths and weaknesses. It will definitely be interesting to see if any of these teams can be the Warriors’ kryptonite. The Pacific Division won’t be regarded by many as the strongest division in the league, however, some teams may be surprise packages this season.

Join me, as I look to answer the following questions: How will the Clippers fare in the post-Chris Paul era? Will the Kings continue their steady ascent up the Western Conference standings? Will Lonzo Ball prove he’s a Big Baller and lead the Lakers back to playoff contention? And finally, will the Suns improve on their last-placed finish in the Western Conference?
