Here are 5 storylines to keep an eye on as the Golden State Warriors begin the 2017-18 regular season against the Houston Rockets at Oracle Arena.

I hate baseball and the Raiders haven’t exactly looked like the Super Bowl team we all predicted them to be this season, so I honestly can’t begin to express how excited I am that Golden State Warriors basketball is officially BACK!

And there’s nothing quite like the Warriors brand of basketball. There’s no group of players in the NBA more entertaining when they’re at their best.

Which makes their 2017-18 season opener so interesting: not only are they receiving their 2016-17 championship rings, but they’re doing so in front of a team led by two future Hall of Famers who have continually come up short of a ring.

How will the Houston Rockets respond to being the first to face the Warriors? Will the Warriors be looking to make a statement on ring night? Why are the tickets so damn expensive, Joe?
