Golden State Warriors: 5 Opening Night Storylines Every Fan Should Follow
3. Are the Warriors seriously unwatchable?
This honestly shouldn’t be a question. I mean, people would probably skip the birth of their first born if they were offered the chance to come early to a game and watch Stephen Curry’s warmup routine.
Mind you — I personally doubt that would ever happen but I’m pretty sure some people were nodding as they read that sentence like “Yeah, yeah I guess I could see that happening.”
The Warriors are TV gold, so it’s no wonder they’ll be playing in a franchise-record 31 games on national television. Dating back to 2015, the Warriors have broken national TV records, and they’ve only continued to shatter local TV records. None of that takes into account the millions of people watching illegally whenever NBA Livestream goes down (which, considering their prices, is too often).
The majority of the world loves the Warriors, and it’s really no wonder when you think about the names they have on the roster and the way they play basketball. If blowing a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals doesn’t prove that basketball is still unpredictable, then I don’t know what to tell you.
