2. Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant has started off the season strong on both ends of the floor, averaging 25.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 0.6 steals and 3.0 blocks on 51.1 percent shooting from the field and 50.0 percent shooting from behind the arc.

Hitting a clutch pull-up 3-pointer to tie the game at 112 with just over a minute left in the game, Durant secured himself on this top-3 list. He ended the night with 29 points, four rebounds, five assists and one steal on 11-of-20 shooting (55 FG%) from the field, 3-of-6 shooting from behind the arc and 4-of-6 (66.6 FT%) shooting from the free throw line.

Games like this one against the Raptors serve as solid evidence as to why Durant is so important to this team’s success moving forward. In lieu of the team’s defensive troubles, having a third reliable scorer in the mix to help fuel the offense and hit big shots is exactly what helped the Warriors pull away late in the game.
