Chris Boucher

Chris Boucher is one of the two players who currently have a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors. In short, what this means is he’ll be splitting his season between Golden State and the Santa Cruz Warriors, playing much of the year with the latter.

This 6-foot-10 forward out of Oregon still has a ways to go before he’s considered fully recovered from the torn ACL he suffered back in March, but he’s reportedly ahead of schedule according to Golden State Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr.

Boucher enjoyed a solid season with the Ducks last year as a senior, appearing in 31 games on per game averages of 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 23.5 minutes. He shot 52.4 percent from the field 35.0 percent from behind the arc and 56.6 percent from the free throw line.

His ACL injury played a huge factor in where he ended up after declaring for the 2017 NBA Draft, ultimately going undrafted. Lucky for Golden State, Boucher has all the tools required of a modern NBA big man, and it’ll be a pleasure to watch him develop over the course of his time with Santa Cruz.
