Golden State Warriors at Boston Celtics: Top 3 plays from 92-88 loss
1. Smart poster
So before you begin to attribute the picture on this slide to the play I’m obviously attempting to reference with my witty title, please allow me to clarify that I’m perfectly aware that the picture above is from last season.
Long story, short — I just couldn’t find a picture of Andre Iguodala’s poster dunk on Marcus Smart from last night. Absolute shame. I got you with that video though, courtesy of NBC Sports Bay Area:
It definitely wasn’t the cleanest of poster dunks: Smart just made a really dumb decision, jumping up from behind Iguodala to try to block Iguodala’s dunk.
Plus, Smart’s name doesn’t exactly come up right away when I think about which NBA players consistently pull off chase down blocks, so I’m not exactly sure what Smart was thinking when he attempted to meet Iguodala at the top.

Iguodala should have gone to the line after this play to try for the and-one free throw, but it was clear the officials didn’t want to add insult to injury. DubNation still got to see Iguodala have his best offensive showing thus far this season, which is certainly a good sign for the Warriors moving forward — especially on this 4-game road trip.
