Foul Trouble and Working The Refs

The Warriors committed 23 fouls in the game and 15 of this were in the second half. The Celtics used a 38-19 field goal attempt disparity  to their advantage and capitalized.

For many fans, these statistics were the deciding factors in the game. However, I don’t believe it’s that simple. This was just two factors in many for this 17 point collapse. NBC Sports Bay Area’s Monte Poole said that the Warriors didn’t adjust to the amateurish officiating, and I agree wth him.

The Warriors, for whatever reason stopped attacking the paint and the basket after the first quarter. Had they penetrated the lane and tried to imitate the contact to the get the foul, the circumstances of this game would have been different than what they were — which brings me to this next point.
