The Warriors were up by 17 in the tail end of the third quarter. Before the end of the first half, they were up as much as 19 points before the Celtics inched within five at halftime. Against the Pistons, the Warriors blew a 14 point lead before losing. On opening night, the Warriors were up by 17 before they lost by a point to the Rockets.
This isn’t nothing new to the Warriors. This isn’t an outlier. It’s a trend now. A trend that needs to be addressed.
Don’t get me wrong, these guys are not going to get up and lock in for every game in the schedule. But they can’t ignore the fact that they blew substantial leads. These examples should show this team that you gotta play a complete game for 48 minuets and not let up.
