The Golden State Warriors came back home to Oracle Arena on Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers, recording highlight after highlight.

Considering the fact that the Golden State Warriors will be playing eight of their next nine games at Oracle Arena, Christmas has seemingly come early to Oakland this year. Allow me to be one of the first to write about how great it is to have the reigning NBA champions back in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Fresh off a 6-game road trip, the Dubs extended their win streak to seven with a 111-104 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, staving off Oakland-native Damian Lillard and his young, developing team.

Kevin Durant led the scoring effort, finishing with 28 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three blocks on 11-of-21 shooting from the field, 2-of-4 shooting from behind the arc and 4-of-4 shooting from the free throw line.

Klay Thompson was right behind KD, tallying 24 points, three rebounds, three assists and one steal on 9-of-21 shooting from the field, 4-of-10 shooting from long range and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe.

Starting in the place of Zaza Pachulia, Omri Casspi had a near double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds to go with three assists. Nick Young added 12 points off the bench, while David West contributed 10 points in the second unit.

The Warriors had one other Warriors players finish the game in double-digit scoring, and he takes the third spot on my list of the top three plays from Monday night.
