3. Saved by the Bell

Jordan Bell was arguably the best player to take the hardwood on Monday for the Golden State Warriors, posting a team-best +14 in 26 minutes as a starter. Taking the place of Draymond Green, Bell finished with 11 points, six rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block on 5-of-6 shooting from the field and 1-of-2 shooting from behind the arc.

Bell made a number of memorable plays, but none of those sequences were more memorable than this block on Oakland native, Damian Lillard.

This play is just one of the many examples of why Jordan Bell is expecting to spend the majority of his career with the Golden State Warriors. At 22 years of age, this 6-foot-9 forward can jump with the best of them, soaring high over the paint to make plays above the rim.

While he normally makes this list with his spectacular finishes off alley-oop lobs, this chase down rejection on Lillard epitomizes Bell’s playing style, which centers around his defensive instincts. He has impeccable timing and coordination, leaving his feet at exactly the right time and meeting Lillard midair.

In a game missing the reigning the Defensive Player of the Year, Bell showed everyone why he should be on everyone’s DPOY list for the rest of his career.
