Kevin Durant recorded a double-double on Thursday playing against the Dallas Mavericks, leading the Golden State Warriors to a 112-97 victory at Oracle Arena.

The Golden State Warriors had a bit of early trouble against the visiting Dallas Mavericks in the first half of Thursday’s game, but the Dubs predictably rallied in the third quarter to create some separation and eventually earn the 112-97 win at Oracle Arena.

Golden State improves their regular season win/loss record to 23-6 with their victory over the Mavs, extending their current win streak to eight consecutive games. The Houston Rockets remain ahead of the Warriors with a 22-4 record and an 11-game win streak.

The Dubs are scheduled to take a short, 1-game road trip to Southern California to face the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday before starting a 7-game homestand that will span the entirety of the holiday season.

There’s also three players that deserve a great deal of credit for the win:

Jordan Bell — who once again started in the place of Draymond Green — contributed eight points, six rebounds, eight assists and two steals on 4-of-5 shooting; David West added nine points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals in the second unit, while Andre Iguodala recorded two points, 10 assists and a +16 in 30 minutes off the bench.
