In Week 4 of the Town’s Finest, I discuss Warriors center JaVale McGee’s relatively new YouTube series, “Parking Lot Chronicles.”

It all goes down in 5 minutes or less after Golden State Warriors‘ home games.

JaVale McGee posted up in the middle of Oracle’s parking lot, holding court with random Dubs fans and  his teammates. You see them joking, laughing and talking about random things before they peel off into the balmy Northern California night.

This is the “Parking Lot Chronicles,” and it’s all kinds of awesome.

I’ve been binge watching these episodes on Kevin Durant’s YouTube channel, and I’m loving how authentic and organic these shows are.  This show is the perfect platform for the engaging personalities of McGee and the rest of the squad. It gives the fans a glimpse into these personalities and how their off court chemistry translates into on court success.

With the exception of Monday’s games against the Lakers, the Warriors will remain in the Bay Area until Jan. 3 when they’ll head to Dallas to face the Mavericks. Since there are seven games in the homestand, I’ve been thinking about future “Parking Lot Chronicles” guests that could appear during this time, and here are a few suggestions.
