The second returns of All-Star voting are rolling in. The Warriors’ two MVP candidates Steph Curry and Kevin Durant are leading the way in the Western Conference.

Steph Curry and Kevin Durant ranked in the top two of the Western Conference in All-Star voting after the first return of voting came in, and they remain at the top of the leaderboard after the second return came in.

Curry leads all Western Conference Players with 1,369,658 votes, and Durant leads all frontcourt players in the West with 1,326,059 votes.

Klay Thompson ranks fourth among Western Conference guards after the second return of voting with 686,825 votes, and Draymond Green is third among Western frontcourt players with 616,730 votes. Voting makes up 50% of the All-Star Game selection process.

More from Blue Man Hoop

There is a bit of a shakeup in the format of the All-Star Game this season as the NBA is moving away from the Western Conference vs Eastern Conference setup. Instead, the NBA’s top-two vote-getters will act as the captains of each team, and they will select their rosters playground-style for the All-Star Game.

After the latest updates in All-Star voting, LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo would be the two captains as they each have over 1.48 million votes thus far. Kyrie Irving has received the third-most votes in the NBA, but Steph Curry is right on his tail as only 1,000 votes separate Steph and Kyrie.

Kevin Durant sits in fifth with a comfortable cushion between him and James Harden, who is currently in sixth-place.
