Monday Musings: Golden State Warriors wrap up another packed, wild week
By Eric He
It’s been a wild week for the Golden State Warriors. They won three games and lost one. But that hardly begins to tell the complete story.
Stephen Curry was back, and then he wasn’t. And then he was again.
On a night when Kevin Durant recorded his 20,000th career point and dropped 40 points on 14-of-18 shooting, he was overshadowed by Lou Williams. Oh, and the Golden State Warriors lost to the Clippers.
And the Warriors put up what has to be one of the greatest offensive first halves in the history of basketball against the Raptors, but won the game by just two points.
For most NBA teams, these three storylines would be enough to fill an entire season. For these Warriors, though, it was just another week.
Here are some things I liked and didn’t like.
