3. Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry comes in at our number three spot on our list of the top three players from last night’s game against the Cavs. This game was just his second appearance since he reportedly slipped in practice and suffered a minor ankle injury, but he’s looked okay since his return.
On Monday against the Cavs, Curry finished with 23 points, four rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 33 minutes. He shot 8-of-15 from the field, 4-of-8 from behind the 3-point line and 3-of-4 from the charity stripe.
Curry started the game pretty slow, scoring only four points before picking up his second foul. He came back into the game in the second quarter, finishing the first half with 11 points, two rebounds and five assists.
Considering his slow start, the fact that he posted the team’s second-highest mark in the plus/minus category at +13 is impressive. He found other ways to be productive and did all the right things at exactly the right time, which earns him this third spot on our list.
