2. Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant may just be the best basketball player in the world right now, so it’s no surprise to see him take the next spot on our list. He has always been an unstoppable force on the offensive side of the ball, but the past two seasons has seen him develop more as a two-way player.

In Cleveland on Monday, Durant dropped in 32 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field, 4-of-6 shooting from behind the arc and 10-of-10 shooting from the free throw line, adding in five rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one block in 35 minutes of play.

KD has been stuffing the stat sheet all season long, averaging 26.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.1 blocks and 0.8 steals on shooting splits of 51.4/41.3/88.6. Over the course the past five games, he’s averaged 24.6 points on 62.5 percent shooting from the field and 60.0 percent shooting from long range.

To think that he chose the Warriors in free agency is still unbelievable. What’s also unbelievable is the fact that none of the Warriors have taken a significant step back due to his presence. The Warriors have been the perfect fit for him, and he’s been the perfect fit for the Golden State Warriors.
