1. Draymond Green

Draymond Green posted a team-high +14 against the Cavs, which helps explain why he’s earned the top spot on our list. If that doesn’t serve as enough evidence, then also take note of the fact that he nearly recorded a triple-double, tallying 11 points, nine assists and a season-high 16 rebounds.

Additionally, he contributed two blocks in 38 minutes of play, shooting 5-of-14 from the field and 1-of-2 from the free throw line.

He didn’t have a particular good shooting night, going just 0-5 from behind the arc. To be fair, 3-point shooting has never been his speciality; rather, his niche has always been on the defensive end, and it was his defense and rebounding that eventually led Golden State to victory.

To put things in perspective: the Cavaliers finished with 43 rebounds, and no player on their roster finished with more than eight boards. Draymond Green not only pulled down twice as many rebounds as Cleveland’s top glass cleaner, but he also accounted for roughly a third of Golden State’s rebound total.

This was the 14th time Draymond has finished with double-digit rebounds. He could have very well stopped at 10 and still earned that distinction, but the Warriors would have ended the game having been outrebounded.
