The Golden State Warriors defeated the Chicago Bulls 119-112 at the United Center on Wednesday.

The reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors came out of Wednesday night with a 119-112 victory, overpowering the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. The Dubs improve their regular season win/loss record to 37-9 and push their current win streak to four consecutive games.

Golden State will head out for last time on this 5-game road trip to play James Harden and the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center on Saturday. The Rockets will be a bit shorthanded, however, as both Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green were suspended without pay following a rather highly publicized locker room altercation with the Los Angeles Clippers.

A win on Saturday would mean the Warriors would go undefeated on their 5-game road trip, on which they beat the Milwaukee Bucks and played their last regular season games against the Toronto Raptors, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Bulls.

Klay Thompson had the hot hand on Wednesday against the Bulls, leading all scorers with 38 points on 12-of-22 shooting from the field, 7-of-13 from behind the arc and 7-of-9 from the free throw line. He also had four rebounds, two assists and one block in 37 minutes.

Stephen Curry also had a pretty good game, recording 30 points, nine rebounds, four assists and one steal in 34 minutes of play. He shot 10-of-18 from the field, 6-of-11 from behind the arc and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe.

Kevin Durant was the only other Warriors player to score in double-digits, finishing with 19 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 35 minutes. Unlike his past few games, he didn’t have an incredibly good shooting night, shooting just 6-of-15 from the field, 0-of-5 from behind the arc and 7-of-7 from the free throw line.

In a game without defensive leaders Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala, the Bulls came out of the gates a little more ready than the Warriors, opening the first half with a 3-point lead over the Warriors.

The Dubs responded by holding the Bulls to just 12 points in the third quarter, going up by as many as 19 points. Chicago led a valiant comeback effort in the fourth and closed the distance to within seven in the final two minutes, but Golden State was able to hold on just long enough to to get the win.
