Axl Dela Cruz breaks down four of his favorite off-court moments from the Golden State Warriors this past week.

The atmosphere during the Golden State Warriors game against the Boston Celtics felt like an NBA Finals Preview and had me at the edge of my seat.

While Stephen Curry’s 49 points was the highlight of the night, I have to credit the rest of the Warriors for helping to keep the team afloat against the best team in the East.

It sucks about that we have to wait five more months to know if we’ll see these two teams again in June, but I, for one, would love to see a Celtics-Warriors matchup in the Finals over another rematch against the Cavs.

But while we’re waiting for the playoffs, let’s discus my favorite moments of the week!

1. Curry’s shoes

Show me a cuter pair of kicks than these Under Armours with Riley and Ryan’s faces on it….Yep, you can’t find any.

2. JaVale and Swaggy P as airport take over

The best duo in basketball history.

3. Four All-Stars

With the addition of Klay Thompson and Draymond Green as reserves, the Warriors became the first team in NBA history to have four all-stars in two consecutive years. Quite a feat!

LeBron took Kevin Durant as the first pick of the draft and he won’t be on Team Stephen, and he had a lot to say about this.

4. KD wins the All-Star Draft

While a lot of fans are quick to point out that Team LeBron looks like the better team of the two, KD still wins the draft.

(Fans are major losers for not seeing this live, too.)

Durant confirmed that he was indeed the first pick and said it’s nice that someone finally picked him first,  a playful jab towards the Portland Trail Blazers for picking Greg Oden over him in the 2007 NBA Draft. He also posted this in his Instagram story:

Amazing.

5. Hungry Klay

I’m so close to start calling this part right here the “favorite Klay Thompson moment of the week”, so here’s another great Klay post-game interview. This is not the first time Klay ate food during his interview. He’s just eating away because yes, food is a necessity.

Don’t skip meals and see you again next week!
