KLAY THOMPSON: 25 POINTS/5 REBOUNDS/3 ASSISTS/ 7-9 3’s VS WOLVES

After poor shooting nights against the Rockets and the Knicks, Thompson was due to break out of his mini slump. Thompson shot 9-of-13 from the field and nailed seven three’s.

This game propelled Thompson to the NBA’s leader in three point percentage at 45.2. Thompson’s threes could very will be a preview of All -Star Weekend where Thompson plans to enter the  three-point contest.

In addition to Thompson’s “lights out” shooting, he was also active on the boards, and each of his five rebounds were on the defensive end.

When most people think of Thompson, the first thing that comes to mind is his prolific shooting off the catch. What they don’t realize is that he’s also a tough and capable defender when he is engaged. Thompson’s five defensive rebounds is indicative of that fact.
