Golden State Warriors: Top 3 plays from 121-103 win vs. Dallas Mavericks
Here is Blue Man Hoop’s top three plays from the Golden State Warriors’ 121-103 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
The reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors finally looked like themselves Thursday night at Oracle Arena, defeating the Dallas Mavericks 121-103. While a troublesome first quarter ended with a 33-23 deficit for the Warriors, they seemingly flipped the switch in the second, winning every subsequent quarter.
Kevin Durant paced the Dubs with 24 points, nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and two blocks. He played just 30 minutes, shooting 8-of-13 from the field, 4-of-6 from behind the arc and a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line.
Stephen Curry was right behind him, dropping in 20 points, seven rebounds and eight assists in 30 minutes. He was just as efficient as KD, shooting 7-of-12 from the field, 4-of-9 from long range and 2-of-2 from the charity stipe.
Considering it was it his birthday, Klay Thompson looked a lot more spry compared to his last few games, posting 19 points, five rebounds and four assists on 8-of-15 shooting. He played 34 minutes and finished +18 on the night, which was the highest plus/minus among the starters.
Draymond Green recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, adding in six assists, two steals and two blocks in only 32 minutes of play. David West nearly notched a triple-double, tallying 10 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block in 17 minutes off the bench.
Golden State’s bench also looked much more locked in than in recent contests. Andre Iguodala finished a team-high +26, West finished a +19 and Shaun Livingston finished a +18.
But enough about the numbers; here’s Blue Man Hoop’s list of the top three plays from the Golden State Warriors’ Thursday night victory over the Dallas Mavericks.
