Last season, there were some rumblings that Curry was taking a back seat to KD in order to better accommodate the 7-foot forward into the mix. This year, that’s no longer the case.
This season, KD and Curry have a much better feel for each other, and this sequence embodies the level of symbiosis the two former MVPs have developed since KD joined the Warriors in 2016.

Although it isn’t included in the video above, the prior possession resulted in an easy bucket for the Warriors when KD found Curry on a cut to the basket. Naturally, Curry showed his gratitude by finding KD for yet another easy bucket for the Warriors.
Credit KD for the over-the-shoulder catch and spectacular finish, but that pass by Curry was by far the most impressive part of that play.
