Lee season-high in points

On Nov. 24, 2017, Damion Lee posted his season-high in points at KP Arena against the visiting Rio Grande Valley Vipers, scoring 25 points off the bench.

In addition, Lee recorded five rebounds, five assists and three assists on 10-of-18 shooting from the field (55.6 percent), 3-of-7 shooting from behind the arc (42.9 percent) and a perfect 2-of-2 shooting from the free throw line.

He also notably committed no turnovers in 28 minutes of play.

Without Quinn Cook to lead the charge, Santa Cruz ended up losing that game 139-121, which arguably factored into Lee’s season-high 18 attempts from the field.

Nevertheless, this game opened the door for Lee seven games into the 2017-18 G League season, and he’s played the role of a scoring sixth man ever since.
