Zaza Pachulia unintentionally fell atop Russell Westbrook’s legs after being tripped up by Nick Young, but fans swear they saw a flicker of intent in his eyes.

I’ve long been a believer in the notion that the most dangerous type of basketball player is the uncoordinated giant, and that’s exactly what Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia has proven himself to be.

That’s also why I strongly believe that Pachulia’s tumble onto the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook on Saturday was unintentional.

Let’s be real: any claim of Pachulia “aiming” to fall on Westbrook’s legs gives the 7-footer WAY too much credit. We’ve witnessed this man trip over his own feet attempting a wide open layup in transition, and now all of a sudden he’s capable of executing The People’s Elbow with pinpoint accuracy?

I simply don’t buy it.

Therefore, we’re going to take an in-depth look at Pachulia’s controversial collapse, as well as the subsequent media backlash.
