In this week’s “Surf City Summary,” Blue Man Hoop writer Angelo Mendoza recaps the past four Santa Cruz Warriors games, highlighting the top performer in each contest.

Golden State Warriors two-way contract player, Quinn Cook, has been absolutely incredible this season with the G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors. In 28 appearances, Cook has averaged 24.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 36.1 minutes per game.

Additionally, he’s continued to prove himself to be an extremely efficient scorer, shooting 51.8 percent from the field, 43.3 percent from behind the arc and 95.5 percent from the free throw line.

In the month of February alone, Cook has averaged 27.0 points on 58.3 percent shooting from the field, 54.5 percent shooting from long range and 92.3 percent shooting from the charity stripe.

Unfortunately for the Sea Dubs, they’ve had to play the past four contests without him this past week, over the course of which they accumulated a 1-3 record.

But in his absence, a number of players have stepped out of the shadows and into the limelight, providing Santa Cruz with the necessary push to remain competitive each and every night.

In this week’s Surf City Summary, we take a look at the team’s past four games and highlight the best performer from each contest.
