Warriors: Jordan Bell and Andre Iguodala Expected to Return Wednesday
By Andrew Ites
Jordan Bell and Andre Iguodala are both listed as probable to play on Wednesday night against the Lakers after missing time due to injury.
Jordan Bell was in the middle of a fantastic rookie season before he suffered a severe sprained ankle against the Bulls on January 17th. That ankle injury kept him out for over a month and hurt the Warriors’ depth at the center position.
Bell made a return to the lineup on February 26th in New York and he played in four games before rolling his ankle again in a game against the Nets on March 6th. Fortunately, Bell’s most recent sprained ankle isn’t as severe as his previous injury and he is expected to play against Los Angeles on Wednesday after sitting out a week.
The Warriors might need Bell to play an important role right away as David West has missed the past four games with a cyst on his arm, and he will be sidelined again on Wednesday. Without West and Bell, Golden State’s centers have struggled outside of a great performance from Zaza Pachulia on Sunday afternoon in Minnesota.
Andre Iguodala’s return is also huge for the Warriors as their wing depth has been tested during his absence. Nick Young and Omri Casspi have been unable to pick up the slack while he’s been nursing a sprained wrist.

The rest of the Warriors’ injury report is not as promising.
Steph Curry will be out until at least March 20th with his most recent sprained ankle, Draymond Green will miss Wednesday’s game with shoulder soreness, and Klay Thompson is questionable with a sprained thumb.
Luckily these injuries come at a decent time for the Warriors as they will be playing three non-playoff teams in a row.
