The Warriors took a 2-0 lead over the Cavs in the NBA Finals thanks to incredible performances from nearly all of their superstars and a couple of role players.

The Warriors certainly entered Game 2 with a mental edge over Cleveland after the Cavs had their hearts ripped out at the end of regulation in Game 1.

Golden State never looked back in this game as the Warriors led the entire night cruising to a 122-103 victory.

The Warriors’ two former MVP’s put up some outstanding numbers on Sunday night.

Steph Curry finished the game with 33 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds.

And he acted as Golden State’s closer hitting some absolutely insane shots in the fourth quarter. Curry scored 16 points on 5/5 three-pointers in the final period.

More from Blue Man Hoop

Steph set an NBA Finals record with 9 three-point field goals made in Game 2.

Kevin Durant had a disappointing night in Game 1, but he bounced back with an extremely efficient performance in Game 2.

KD hit 10 of his 14 field goal attempts for 26 points. Durant also grabbed 9 rebounds, blocked 2 shots, and dished 7 assists to fill out the stat sheet.

Klay Thompson was questionable for Sunday night’s game with a leg injury suffered in Game 1, but he looked pretty healthy scoring 20 points on 8/13 from the field.

The Warriors also saw a couple of their role players step up in Game 2.

JaVale McGee took Kevon Looney’s spot in the starting lineup, and he made Steve Kerr’s decision look smart. JaVale scored 12 points on a perfect 6/6 from the floor as he provided the energy this Golden State team needs from the center position.

Shaun Livingston also had a perfect shooting night scoring 10 points on 5/5 FG, and he grabbed 5 rebounds.
