The Warriors now know their entire 2018-19 regular season schedule after they were released on Friday afternoon. Here are the key dates on this year’s calendar.
The NBA released their major national television games earlier this week, and the Warriors were obviously heavily featured.
Now the league has released the full regular season schedule, which gives fans a full view of what the upcoming year will look like.
Golden State’s first five games of the year are as follows:
- Tuesday, October 16th: HOME against the Oklahoma City Thunder

There is a lot to digest from the Warriors’ early schedule.
Their first two road games are in two of the toughest environments in the league in Utah and Denver. The players will need to be in good shape early on to survive two straight games at high altitude.
Golden State finishes that five game stretch against the Washington Wizards, and there has been plenty of bad blood in those matchups throughout the years.
The Warriors and Rockets will meet in Houston on Thursday, November 15th, in a rematch of last season’s Western Conference Finals.
Golden State will host the Rockets on Thursday, January 3rd, and Saturday, February 23rd, and they’ll make their second and final trip to Houston on Wednesday, March 13th. All four of those games will be on national television.
Their toughest road trip will begin in Houston on March 13th, where they face the Rockets, Thunder, Spurs, and Timberwolves away from home.
The second-toughest road trip will begin in Los Angeles on January 18th against the Clippers, followed by games against the Lakers, Wizards, Celtics, and Pacers.
The Warriors will face the LeBron James-less Cavaliers for the first time on Wednesday, December 5th, in Cleveland. That game will have significantly lower stakes than their previous four NBA Finals matchups.
The Western Conference got tougher this offseason, but Golden State also improved with the addition of DeMarcus Cousins.
This schedule won’t be easy, but the Warriors should be the favorite to secure home-court advantage throughout the Playoffs.
