Steph Curry continued his professional golf career at the Ellie Mae Classic, but it did not go very well for the two-time MVP.
Last week, Steph Curry participated in the Ellie Mae Classic for the second year in a row.
The tournament is located at the TPC Stonebrae Country Club in nearby Hayward, California. Curry missed the cut in 2017, but he shot a respectable 74 in each of the first two rounds and finished above a couple of professionals on the Web.com Tour (professional golf’s equivalent of the NBA’s G League).
However, Steph did not fare as well in this year’s tournament.
He started the weekend strong with a one-over 71 on Thursday, but his score fell off a cliff with a 16-over 86 on Friday causing him to miss the cut and finish in last place among the field.

Curry still has a few weeks to work on his golf game before the Warriors begin training camp and their quest for a three-peat.
Him and Andre Iguodala have been Golden State’s ambassadors for golf, and Iggy even made an appearance on the telecast of the PGA Championship on TNT as a guest analyst.
Steph grew up with the game golf along with his love for basketball. He’s played well in multiple pro-am tournaments, and Curry has even played a few rounds with President Barack Obama over the years.
This week’s performance will probably encourage Steph to put away the golf clubs for a while and focus on a game he’s much better at.
