Stephen Curry is in the midst of his prime years in the NBA. Here is a preview of what to expect in his 2018-19 campaign.

The past few seasons for Stephen Curry have been historic. In a four year stretch, Curry has won two MVPs and three NBA championships. This is something only elite players such as Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson have accomplished. In this time, he has become an NBA legend and is still on the rise.

Curry has already accomplished more than a majority of his competition. He is without a doubt the greatest shooter of all-time while being in the conversation for the greatest scorer. At the least, he is one of the most efficient scorers in the history of the game.

He has broken countless 3-point records. In 2016, he led his team to a number of different regular season records. He has also been to the NBA Finals four straight seasons and won in three of those appearances. What else does Curry have left to prove?

Well, Curry still has a lot of time left in his career. At only 29 years of age, he will likely be in his prime for at least three more seasons. However, with his style of play, he doesn’t rely very heavily on a superb athletic ability. For this reason, it is possible he can continue to be effective for up to seven more years.

Seven years in the NBA is a very long time. Take into account the fact that Curry is already on pace to break the all-time 3-point record by the 2020-21 season. This means he could capture the all-time record while still having four more seasons of high-level performances. That record is going to be shattered.

For now, let’s focus on the season ahead of us. Let’s take a look at what we should expect from Curry in the upcoming 2018-19 NBA season.
