We found the next chapter of superstar Kevin Durant’s life. If possible, the Golden State Warriors forward would join the Los Angeles Rams right now.

While the offer might be tempting for LA, let’s cross our fingers and pray Kevin Durant stays with the Golden State Warriors. As jokingly as it sounds, Durant might actually make a decent wide receiver with such length.

However, could he take hits from “one of the most impressive athletes in all of sports” Aaron Donald?

The Slim Reaper might, in another life, be a football player. In this life, though, he can just sit back and enjoy being of the NBA’s most complete players, recently ranking second in Sports Illustrated’s ranking of the top NBA players of 2019.

Although Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay clearly wouldn’t mind bringing on the two-time NBA championship, Durant is locked up for at least the next nine months. Sorry, coach.

Adding another superstar to another championship-caliber team can never be a bad idea, right? Per ESPN, McVay thinks Durant might be an animal in the red zone.

"“I bet he’d be pretty dangerous in the red zone on some of those jump balls,” McVay said, smiling…. “If he thinks about wanting to do that, we’ll welcome him,” McVay said, chuckling. “He can come kick it with us anytime he wants.”"

6-foot-9 with a 7-foot-5 wingspan, Durant would be able to get every single ball even remotely within his reach. As helpless as the cornerbacks guarding him would feel, the forwards that have to match up with him on a nightly basis are just an ineffective.

While a joke, it’s always nice to see players giving credit to other superstar athletes. And, Aaron Donald, one of the NFL’s most elective defenders, certainly deserves the shoutout, and apparently, also deserves the massive contract he was just awarded.

In just a few weeks, we get to see Durant get off social media and report to training camp. With the season’s start just a few weeks away, it’s finally time to get excited about a Warrior quest for a three-peat.
