Draymond Green

One of the league’s most unique players, Draymond Green has transformed from a player many didn’t believe in to one that strikes fear in the heart of his opponents. Drafted in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft, Green has proven to be the Warriors swiss army knife.

Not an elite scoring threat, Green’s value comes from all the intangibles he brings to the table. He’s a top defender, an elite passer, and an unselfish teammate. The Dubs recent dynasty might not have been so dominant if they didn’t have a Green-like player.

The six-year veteran has made the All-Star game in his last three seasons.

Just like Curry in 2015-2016, Green led the league in steals during the 2016-2017 season. That season, one his best professional seasons, he averaged 10.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.

Green and a prime Dwyane Wade are the only two to put up such outstanding season averages, even further proves Green’s sky-high value. And, just like Curry and Klay, Green isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

At 28, Green will be entering his seventh professional season after four years at Michigan State University. Ultimately, Green is one of the best success stories when vouching for young player to stay in school and develop their game.
