DeMarcus Cousins

DeMarcus Cousins is universally recognized as one of the best centers in the NBA. Last season, Cousins averaged a dominant 25.2 points and 12.9 rebounds per game. This made him a borderline superstar.

The league has never seen a center as versatile as Cousins. He is capable of scoring from any spot on the floor. His strength is enough to outpower any other player and he racks up rebounds easily. As a result, Cousins has been named to four All-Star teams and two All-NBA teams.

So, why is he ranked so low on this roster?

Well, the players in front of him aren’t necessarily more talented. Rather, they are more important to the structure of the team. The Golden State Warriors have been winning games for years without a star center.

The addition of Cousins makes them stronger, but it isn’t vital to their success. Furthermore, his looming Achilles injury could derail his entire season. Cousins may never return to the player he once was.

Because of this, he falls to the sixth spot on our list. -TP
