Damion Lee

One of the least known players on the Golden State Warriors roster is Damion Lee. Lee was taken in the 2016 NBA draft but didn’t appear in his first NBA game until the 2017-18 season.

In this season, Lee averaged 10.7 points and 4.7 rebounds a game. He played in just 15 games for the Atlanta Hawks but proved to be effective. This performance managed to land Lee a spot on the Warriors roster.

Another reason he may have earned a place on the team is the fact that he is about to become Stephen Curry’s brother in law. Yeah, Lee is set to marry Steph’s sister, Sydel Curry. This means the Warriors may have found Steph’s first literal “Splash Brother”.

Unfortunately, Lee hasn’t proven to be a great shooter. Last season, he shot 25 percent from the three-point line. Still, he was able to score the ball at a decent rate and showed a knack for grabbing rebounds.

Lee won’t have a profound impact on the team. It is uncertain how long he will even remain a member of the Warriors. However, for now, he is here and deserves a spot on this list. -TP
