Jonas Jerebko

Jonas Jerebko signed with the Warriors as a free agent after playing last season with the Utah Jazz.

The 6-foot-10 Swedish born forward is extremely skilled and versatile on the offensive end. He is a stretch four who can shoot the three at a very respectable 37%, coming off a year where he shot a career-best 41% from three. He will be a very nice situational player for Golden State.

He looks to bring some scoring punch to the bench unit, that at times was lacking last season.  He’s a stretch four that should pair well with Curry or Durant in the pick-and-roll. He has the ability to shot fake and get to the basket as well.

Jerebko is not known as a defender but he is athletic enough and smart enough to be a solid defensive player. The defensive system in Golden State is one of the best in the league. If he stays disciplined and adheres to the defensive principles, he should do just fine.

The signing of Jonas Jerebko is another example of the great job the front office continues to do when it comes to filling out this roster. – ZR
