Kevin Durant on his future

Now, it’s Kevin Durant’s turn to address the future. However, his answer to the thought-provoking question is much more worrisome than Green’s.

I think his head is in the right place though. Durant leaves the true answer regarding his future up in the air, but it feels likely that this season has a make-it-or-break-it theme around it for Durant. If they win, he’ll continue to thrive in the Bay for the foreseeable future.

But, what if the highly-favored team of superstars falls short?

If they don’t three-peat, we’ll “see what happens” for Durant. Durant has been rumored to be heading to Los Angeles to team up with LeBron James and eventually take over the Lake Show prior to James’ recently signed four-year contract concluding.

Ultimately, just like Green, this season won’t paint the whole picture. Even if they do win, Durant may end up leaving the Bay. Pleasing fans has never been Durant’s top characteristic anyway.
