A Sixth All-Star

A four-time All-Star, Jimmy Butler would add yet another dimension to this already limitless team. The Dubs have five players on their current roster that were elected to the 2018 NBA All-Star game.

The reason any team wants to acquire Jimmy Bulter is because of his desire to succeed.

Prior to his come up in Chicago, Butler was not considered a great prospect, drafted with the 30th pick of the 2011 NBA Draft. Now, after seven years in the NBA and four as a superstar, Butler has cemented himself as one of the league’s best two-way players.

Butler’s still getting better too.

Last season, although his numbers dipped a bit, he saw a career-high true shooting percentage. Also seeing a career-high three-point attempt rate, Butler would fit the run and gun mold that Golden State has built around Curry and Thompson.

Adding Butler to the Dubs could create an unfair assemblance of talent for Golden State. With under 30 players selected as All-Stars, the Dubs would easily create the league’s most dynamic offense and defense with Butler.

The scary part is that Bulter, if brought to Golden State, might be forced to come off the bench.
