The Golden State Warriors and Kevin Durant have continued to see rumors spread about their departure.

The rumors about where Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant will end up next summer keep on coming, this time, it is about him and the New York Knicks.

Chris Haynes of Y! Sports said the Knicks have a ‘good shot’ at getting Kevin Durant in free agency next summer and luring him way from The Bay Area.

"“Knicks have a very good shot at luring KD away from the Bay Area … The same allure that LeBron had towards the Los Angeles Lakers, just the building, the culture, is the same way I know that KD feels about the Knicks.”"

Haynes said this on Undisputed.

The Knicks will have cap space for a max free agent next summer. Every player has talked about how they love playing in Madison Square Garden.

The Staples Center and the Lakers franchise and the Knicks and Madison Square Garden have the same allure they can bring superstars to their team. They’re both big cities with loyal fanbases and a young, rising core to work around.

It will be interesting to see what Durant does. There will be rumors all season long on where Durant could possibly end up next summer.

This could be the last season of the Warriors dynasty if both Durant and Klay Thompson leave next summer. Some rumors have also placed Durant on the Lakers with James next summer, so there is really no telling what will happen as of now.

Durant has been a monster for the Warriors over the past two seasons. He’s averaged over 25 points per game and developed a nice playmaking game that’s resulted in Durant averaging 5.4 assists per game last season.

With two rings under his belt, the Dubs seem comfortable with Durant and have nicely acclimated themselves to the addition of the superstar. However next offseason goes down, the Dubs and the Bay Area have to be thankful that Durant brought his presence to the Bay.
