The Golden State Warriors could trade for Jimmy Butler, and while unlikely, here are three potential offers that both sides might consider.

There’s no need for the Golden State Warriors to add yet another top-20 player; however, it could certainly benefit them if they could somehow pull off a trade for Jimmy Butler. Butler requested a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves and is in the last year of his contract.

A four-time All-Star, Butler’s availability in the open market marks the second straight offseason that a top-20 player might find a new home via trade.

His prowess on both the offensive and defensive end make him an ideal target for any team that’s on the brim of being a playoff or championship contender. As of now, the most likely team to acquire Butler is the Miami Heat.

Per ESPN, this is what the Wolves are requiring from the Heat for Butler.

"Minnesota’s preferences in a Miami deal have included center Bam Adebayo, guard Josh Richardson and a protected 2019 first-round pick, league sources said. A trade could take on a larger construction to include more players, league sources said."

While the current potential might be less than desired, the Dubs could offer something similar. That said, here are three potential trades.
