Option No. 1

Here is one of a few potential offers and the one I think would be the most likely.

The Warriors would get the superstar in Butler and would boast a whopping six 2018 All-Stars on their roster. That would have to be some sort of record. A team with an abundance of talent, the Dubs would also receive cap relief from trading for Butler.

It’s obvious that the Dubs most likely wouldn’t be able to retain Butler. He’d command the max in free agency and the Dubs would certainly rather keep players like Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant.

However, Iguodala is making around $16 million and is locked in for the next two seasons, so trading his contact away would be paramount in any deal. The Wolves would also be getting Jacob Evans, the Warriors gritty 2018 first-round pick along with another future unprotected first.

Albeit it’s almost certain the Dubs 2019 first would be among the worst in the league, it’s still a pick capable of reeling in top talent. That said, if a deal falls through between the Heat and Wolves, this offer could potentially be on the table.
