Cousins the personality

So far so good in the minds of the Warriors players and staff, including coach Steve Kerr who mentioned he’s pleased with the work DeMarcus has been doing with the youth. “We’ve been really happy with how he’s been a mentor to the younger guys,” Kerr said to the San Francisco Chronicle’s Connor Letourneau. “Whenever they need something, he’s there to help.”

The players themselves have been appreciative of it as well: He’s really cool…People paint a picture of him because he yells a lot. He’s just like Draymond (Green). He yells, but he’s a real cool dude” Jordan Bell said per Letourneau.

Warriors fans understandably are looking forward to the impact DeMarcus Cousins makes on the court once he returns to action, but the fact is that in the meantime it’ll be Bell, Jones, and Looney that fill in for him during his absence.

Contrary to the DeMarcus Cousins others think they know, Boogie is shedding his prior reputation going into the season.
