The Golden State Warriors have created the greatest dynasty of the decade. Here are the five toughest playoff opponents they have faced.

At the start of the decade, the Golden State Warriors seemed to be roaming aimlessly through the league. Their future seemed dim and they did not have much going for them. Miraculously, the Dubs built through the draft and make key trades to create the super team we see now.

Since the 2012-14 season, the Warriors have made the NBA playoffs for six consecutive years. This is the longest playoff streak the franchise has endured since their creation in the 1940’s.

In addition to reaching the playoffs, they have appeared in four straight NBA Finals. This is something that only two other teams in NBA history have done. The other teams being the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics.

The Dubs have won three out of their four appearances and are favorites to win their fourth and third straight championship this season. Capping off a three-peat would be the finishing touches to forming a historic dynasty.

Many obstacles have stood in the Warriors way. Throughout the years, a number of strong opponents have pushed the Dubs to their absolute limit. Today, we look back at the five most difficult playoff series that the Warriors have played in this decade.
