5. Damian Lillard

Playoff averages vs Warriors: 29.8 PPG, 5.5 APG

The first member of this list is Oakland native, Damian Lillard. Growing up in Oakland, California, Lillard has a personal reason to show out every time he plays against the Warriors. Every game he plays in Oracle arena, his family and friends are likely in the arena watching him.

This is more than enough to get Lillard hyped to play an NBA game. Putting on a show for his family and childhood friends is something that every player wants to do.

Furthermore, playing in a small market with the Portland TrailBlazers, a game against the Warriors is often the most attention Lillard will get all season. All eyes are watching when they get set to play versus Golden State and Dame is clearly the type of player who thrives in this situation.

Lillard has had a number of notable games against the Dubs. He has scored 40+ in three different matchups. His most impressive one is when he dropped a career-high 51 points in a win. This performance was monstrous as it occurred during the midst of Stephen Curry and the Warriors historic 2016 season.
