2. Houston Rockets

After going 65-17, getting the number one seed, and one win away from the NBA Finals last season, the Houston Rockets will be looking to do something, even more, this year. Reigning MVP James Harden added more to his offensive arsenal. One move he has already shown us was his disgusting behind the back side step. No that wasn’t a travel. It was just BBQ chicken.

3. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder are a team that did not meet expectations at all last season. After getting the 4th seed in the West and getting bounced in the first round by a Donovan Mitchell-led Utah Jazz team, they will be looking for more this season. Russell Westbrook and Paul George played well together. They averaged 47.3 Points Per Game (PPG) combined last season. They still have arguably the best rebounding center in the league in Steven Adams.

They also got rid of an aging Carmelo Anthony for Dennis Schroder and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot. These guys will be decent role players for OKC.

4. Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers will be entering one of the most interesting seasons the storied franchise has ever seen. They have now added the greatest player in the world, LeBron James, and will once again compete for an NBA championship.

Despite James being the main headline of the season, there are many pieces to this puzzle. The development of Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram, and Kyle Kuzma will be vital to the teams’ success. Furthermore, quirky vets such as Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee will make this team must-watch TV.
