5. Utah Jazz

This Jazz team is going to be one to watch again. You still have Mitchell and Rudy Gobert who are great players in their own right, This team will stay where they were last season. The thing that makes this team watchable is Grayson Allen. (That hurts me to say as a North Carolina fan. #GoHeels)

6. Denver Nuggets

Last season the Nuggets missed the playoffs by one game but the same won’t happen this year. Nikola Jokic will continue to breakout and make those no-look passes with the eyes in the back of his head. It’s their additions that will help them get the 6th seed. Between getting Isaiah Thomas at a veterans’ minimum and having Micheal Porter Jr. drop all the way to the 14th pick in the draft. The Mile High team will have some solidarity on their bench.

7. Portland Trail Blazers

After getting a surprising 3rd seed last season, Portland will be dropping down a few spots. It’s not that this team got worse, just all of the other teams got better. They will still content throughout the season with one of the most underrated and over-looked point guards in the league in Damian Lillard. CJ McCollum is also an above average two-guard in the NBA.
