After a joy-filled preseason, it’s time for the Golden State Warriors to get to work. Here are some takeaways from the intriguing five-game stretch.
The Golden State Warriors finished their five-game preseason with a loss to the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers. With that loss, they finished the preseason just 1-4 with losses to the Lakers (twice), the Timberwolves and the Suns.
Albeit the Dubs did absolutely demolish the Kings, they didn’t showcase their superstar talent too much during the preseason. After four straight 95+ game seasons for the original big three, the preseason is ultimately of little importance.
It is always nice to see the Dubs come out victorious, but this preseason, they seemed to enjoy themselves.
It was evident in their last game with long-time foe, LeBron James. The Dubs, who were up early and often in the first half, enjoyed the game, kicked back, and saw some talented young Lakers mount a comeback.
While for Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry there might not be too many takeaways, but for some of the younger guys, these five games could mean a career. That said, let’s dive into some takeaways from the Warriors five preseason games.
